Yesterday, at the start of her statewide bus tour, Susana Martinez talked briefly to the crowd assembled there. She was gracious, as always, and one of the topics she mentioned was the importance of Voter ID’s in New Mexico. Contrary to what you might think, she reminded all, that most New Mexicans and most Americans (70% plus), believe that having to show a photo ID to vote doesn’t infringe on anyone’s rights. After the visit with the crowd, she departed in her bus which was a lot cheaper for taxpayers than Bill Richardson’s famous jet.
In our morning discussions, one of the staff brought up the linked article below that tells about massive voter fraud in Maryland for a number of years. Recently, we also did a posting of a video by James O’Keefe about voter fraud condoned in Colorado by a voter clerk.
The only question that remains is:
“If over 70% of the population favors Voter ID’s and voter fraud has been found, why don’t we have Voter ID requirements.”
The answer is that in New Mexico, as in other places, those with no Voter ID’s are more likely to vote Democrat.
Tom Udall, like Obama and Eric Holder (U.S. Attorney General), doesn’t want to allow voter ID’s even though 70% of his constituents want it.
That tells you what kind of representative he is. The kind that will take any kind of vote from anyone – even if they aren’t legally eligible to make the vote.
