We don’t follow Ben Ray Lujan much but we know he doesn’t vote differently than Tom Udall or Michelle Lujan-Grisham. In fact, we can easily imagine that Ben Ray doesn’t even think about the votes he makes very much. He just calls up his buddy Tom Udall and they talk about about how they will manage the controversies that arise in the aftermath of a bad bill rather than the consequences of their votes. They are on the blue team, you see, and the blue team always has to vote the same way on every piece of legislation.
The linked article, by Political Fireball, does a little investigative journalism. We like this blog enormously because the writing is great, the insight is greater, and the devotion to topics of the New Mexico political scene is endearing.

Ben Ray, as it turns out, doesn’t have much of a resume, except that he comes from a political family that has run the state for decades, sort of reminding us of the Udall dynasty that has clogged up Congress forever.
For those of you in the 3rd district, maybe you should take a hard look at Ben Ray Lujan and really consider whether he has the acumen to help New Mexico?
