Regardless of whether you consider yourself pro-choice or pro-life, 55 million babies, or fetus as some like to refer to them, are no longer here. They had no opportunity to contribute. They had no chance to find someone they loved, start a family, teach their children, work on our society and make this a better place for all. They were erased.
55 million is a big number. It is still growing.
What is sad is that it says a lot about priorities in our society in America. It says we don’t want to be bothered. It says women get pregnant but often don’t have the help they need to raise a child and nurture a human being. It says that abortion has become a convenient birth control. It says that 55 million future citizens were taken before their time.
This video says that when you go to the voting booth think before you push the button, pull the lever, fill in the circle with a little black dot.
Abortion is legal in the U.S., is not safe, and is all too common.
We all have choices to make. It is sad that women are the ones who have to live with this kind of choice. Discussions are okay, but abortion transcends discussion.
It is all very sad. There is nothing to rejoice about here.
