Alveda King is the niece of civil rights activist Martin Luther King and she has her own rights to protect. She gave a speech at the National Right to Life Prayer Breakfast on June 27th, 2014 and made her positions clear.

“Abortion ends the life of more African Americans than all other causes of death combined. In 2008 abortion killed 363,716 African American babies. Blacks account for 12.6% of the U.S. population but 30% of the abortions.”

She continued to re-iterate that Planned Parenthood had its origins in targeting minority populations and Margaret Sanger was connected with the Eugenics Movement in the U.S. and England. With state laws on the rise concerning abortion and a drop in abortions in the U.S. things are turning around for Pro Life organizations.

A question that might be raised is whether it is best to create a dependency state that helps women raise children and families by themselves at government expense (all our expense) or create a booming economy whereby women and their babies fathers can find jobs and go about their responsibility of caring for their own children?

Tom Udall has sided with the dependency state.
