Tom Udall Plays Fast and Furious

The U.S. Department of Justice is finally going to have to fork over some documents from the Fast and Furious scandal that just won’t go away. It is traditional now for the Obama administration to claim executive privilege and keep things away from the American public and away from Congress. As in the IRS scandal, Bengazi, Fast and Furious and more, we will be the last to know and we will always be told only what is deemed necessary for us to know.

Tom Udall has been silent for a long time on this issue, preferring to talk about burn pits, veterans, the V.A. scandal, campaign finance, and Constitutional amendments that aren’t going anywhere. He can’t raise any money talking about how guns got from U.S. authorities into the hands of drug cartels in Mexico and got a few Americans killed. Well, we guess they were just collateral damage.

A Federal court ruled that Eric Holder, that paragon of virtue, fork over all documents showing the involvement of U.S. authorities in the scandal. Mr. Holder wanted to make the case disappear and we are guessing that soon E-mails will be erased and all records of significance will vanish.

Tom Udall’s take is that it is another witch hunt. The thing about witch hunts is that sometimes you really find the witch.
